Starting Over from an Egg. Rebuilding Together with Tiniskte

Just a few days ago, we delivered the materials to expand the community oven in Agadir Atlas, in the heart of the Moroccan mountains struck by the 2023 earthquake. A project born to support female entrepreneurship and to rebuild hope, one step at a time.

Today, we bring you a new story — one of courage, dignity, and the will to begin again.

We are in Tiniskte, a village in the municipality of Imgdal, in the El Haouz region. A name that, today, you won’t find on any map: the earthquake literally wiped it out. The houses no longer exist.

The roads are only memories, and the twelve women who will lead this project are now living in a tent camp, surrounded by broken mountains and suspended dreams.

But where there is a tent, a home can be born — and where there is an egg, a new life can begin.

With your support, we will launch a small-scale poultry farming project aimed at producing eggs and meat. A simple, tangible, and replicable activity. A first step to restore dignity, income, and autonomy to these extraordinary women.

Together, we will make this happen:

  1. Purchase of a fully equipped and insulated 256-egg incubator;
  2. Supply of 150 mixed-breed chickens (20 roosters and 130 hens);
  3. 15 feeders and 15 waterers;
  4. Wire fencing, concrete poles, and cement;
  5. Feed and cleaning tools;
  6. Technical training for autonomous farm management.

With this project, we won’t just launch a new income-generating activity — we will lay the foundations for a new beginning.

Because from every egg, a new possibility will be born. And each woman involved will be able to train others.

That’s how a village is rebuilt. That’s how the future is sown.
