The FOSAM (Mountain Protection and Training) project had two editions aimed at training Italians and foreigners in severe socio-economic conditions in the Mugello area.

The project focused on training in the management of forest and mountainous areas.

Participants received training and certification in the cutting of medium and large trees at the professional school in Rincine (FI).

During the course, participants also worked on restoring paths for the CAI and cleaning small waterways, among other environmental maintenance activities.
