In over ten years of experience managing humanitarian emergency projects across various regions of Africa, we have dealt with a wide range of complex situations, from environmental crises to interventions in severe socio-political contexts involving refugees due to armed conflicts. Our expertise is distinguished by a deep commitment to positively impact the lives of people affected by humanitarian emergencies.
Our steadfast dedication to the humanitarian cause and our ability to effectively manage crisis situations make us a reliable resource in this field. Our first humanitarian emergency intervention dates back to 2005, when we coordinated direct distribution of food supplies and livestock to Tuareg communities north of Agadez, Niger, severely affected by a severe food crisis in 2004. Despite our limited financial resources at the time, this modest intervention had a significant impact on the involved communities.
Building on this initial experience and subsequent projects developed in rural areas, less than five years later, we collaborated with UN agencies such as UNHCR, UNICEF, WFP, and IOM in Humanitarian Emergency projects, addressing issues such as malnutrition, child care in refugee camps, and support for victims of catastrophic events such as floods and droughts.
Further significant projects in the field of humanitarian emergencies were implemented with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs - Directorate General for International Development Cooperation and Cooperation of the Principality of Monaco. To successfully implement these initiatives, we have established strong partnerships with other Italian and local NGOs.
Our ongoing commitment and consolidated experience enable us to tackle humanitarian challenges with determination and effectiveness, always aiming to improve the quality of life for the vulnerable communities we work with.
Since 2022, we have also intervened to benefit the civilian population of Ukraine affected by Russian aggression, collecting medical, surgical, sanitary, and hygiene materials in Italy, as well as vehicles such as ambulances, 4x4s, and vans, and delivering them to civilian partners in Chernovohrad in the Lviv Oblast.
