The project carried out for the benefit of the Tessouba community in the Agadez Region of Niger had as its primary goal ensuring access to water for irrigation and livestock watering, with the objective of reducing the risk of social conflicts between farmers and herders. These conflicts were increasing due to the growing scarcity of water resources, a vital element for the region's agricultural and livestock activities.

The intervention effectively addressed the growing tension between agricultural and herding communities, directly benefiting approximately 600 people. The construction of a water point provided not only an immediate solution to the water crisis but also an alternative to the potential exodus of inhabitants, who were increasingly unable to maintain a productive and sustainable social space.

By implementing durable solutions for water access, the project not only mitigates the risk of conflicts but also supports the economic and social development of the Tessouba community, promoting a more stable and productive environment.
