The NGO Bambini nel Deserto and Drive4Aid organized a humanitarian expedition in the mountainous region of northern Albania.

The objective of the expedition was to deliver medical supplies and provisions to elderly and disabled individuals living in remote and isolated areas. The expedition lasted one week and involved a team of volunteers from Modena, Frosinone, and Albanian communities. Volunteers traveled by car through the Albanian mountains, visiting villages and rural communities.

In each village, they distributed humanitarian aid to those in need. The medical supplies distributed included medicines, dressing materials, and medical devices. The food supplies included canned food, pasta, rice, oil, and other essential products.

The expedition had a profoundly positive impact on the beneficiaries. Elderly and disabled individuals received the assistance they needed to improve their quality of life. Volunteers from the expedition reported a highly rewarding experience, witnessing firsthand how their work was making a difference in the lives of those in need.
