Health Has No Borders: A Story of African Solidarity

In January 2026, the Burkina Kamba renew their commitment to healthcare in Senegal.

In a small corner of the Thiès Region, in the village of Tassette, more than two thousand people live for whom even a simple medical visit is often an unreachable dream. The long distances from health centers, the lack of means, and the extreme poverty make it impossible to receive even the most basic care.

That’s why, at the start of the new year, we will return to Senegal for our third medical mission, following the meaningful and unforgettable experiences that began in Burkina Faso in 2010.

Where no one else goes, we will go – bringing doctors, medicines, and above all, the belief that health must never be a privilege, but a universal right.

Who travels with us

Our team will be made up of dedicated professionals, supported by volunteers who will take care of every logistical detail, ensuring that every consultation and every act of care reaches those who need it most.

Upon arrival in Dakar, we will purchase locally a wide range of essential medicines and medical supplies: antipyretics, antibiotics, supplements, pediatric syrups, antimalarial treatments, and much more. Every box, every dose, is a tangible fragment of hope.

This mission will not only support the community of Tassette, but—as happened last year—it will also reach neighboring villages, expanding the impact of our intervention and multiplying the lives we touch.
