The project aimed to build a nursery school consisting of 2 classrooms adjacent to the primary school.

The nursery structure was in poor condition and can accommodate a limited number of children relative to the community's needs. Bambini nel Deserto is involved in the project through its local and mission staff, in partnership with the Turin-based NGO Legamondo, with whom numerous projects have been successfully carried out in Burkina Faso over the years, focusing particularly on children and women.

The structure (walls, fixtures, roofing, color, finishes, etc.) requires a total cost of €16,400.

The Gampela nursery school consists of 2 classrooms connected by a roof; the classrooms measure 43 sqm and 62 sqm respectively. The structure was built using on-site cement blocks made by the selected construction company, with a traditional galvanized metal sheet roofing solution.

The entire school complex is raised to prevent flooding during the rainy season.

Overall, the structure measures 22.45 meters in length and 9.15 meters in width.

The latrine block is located nearby, leveraging the communal septic tank already in place for the primary school.
