The Wells of Zinder Program is an initiative aimed at restoring and rehabilitating 20 previously abandoned water points in the Zinder region of Niger due to inadequate maintenance. These wells are crucial to ensure continuous and reliable access to drinking water in an area that has faced numerous challenges.

To date, the Wells of Zinder Program has initiated restoration efforts in 15 different locations by the end of 2022.

This area is characterized by significant tension due to terrorist attacks perpetrated by Islamic fundamentalists in recent years.
