Tuinuke Association

Rosemary's story begins in 2004, when she was diagnosed with HIV. From that moment on, she found herself marginalized by family and friends and decided to react, founding the Tuinuke association.
The idea is to make and sell handcrafted products to help other women who find themselves in the same situation as her. The association will grow more and more over time until it supports 15 HIV-positive women.
We at DicoBruMa have decided to help them, creating a partnership and supporting them further with the sale of their beautiful products. Thanks to this, today we have managed to pay the rent of an apartment in Nairobi for 3 years, getting them out of the slum where they lived and worked.
Today some of them have become mothers, and we are very happy that their children will be able to grow up in a healthy and clean environment!

Madre Rosemary

Mother Rosemary lives in Meru, north of Nairobi, Kenya, and is a member of the congregation of the Sisters of Our Lady of Charity of the Good Shepherd.
In January she wrote to us asking for our help to pay the school fees of 6 deserving boys. 6 excellent students who would not have been able to complete their studies because they did not have the financial means. DiCoBruMa managed to ensure these boys a semester (with all the exams included) fully paid!
A little help from us to ensure a future for those who are less fortunate.
From the latest updates from Mother Rosemary all 6 have brilliantly passed their last exams, and we hope to see these boys realize their dreams soon!

Evelyn

Evelyne is an artisan from Nairobi who until recently lived in a slum in the city. Thanks to the support of the DiCoBruMa project, we were able to send her financial aid, which allowed her to move to a house outside the slum with all the comforts.
Thanks to the project and the numerous purchases made by you, Evelyne will have 2/3 of the rent paid for 3 years.

Dicobruma is a project that uses the proceeds from sales to finance development projects in Africa, assisting the women artisans who produce the bags, aprons, wallets, backpacks, clothes, etc. that you buy from us
